What can I do if my Gateway is offline?

If your Gateway appears offline in the app, try the following steps:

  1. Check Power:
    • Ensure the Gateway is connected to a power source.
    • Confirm that at least one LED is on. If not, unplug it and plug it back in after 30 seconds.
  2. Verify Network Connection:
    • For cellular models, make sure the area has signal coverage.
    • For Wi-fi models, check that the network is active and the password hasn’t changed.
  3. Inspect the LEDs:
    • Flashing green: attempting to connect.
    • Solid green: connected to the internet.
    • Flashing red: cannot connect—check the power and network again.
  4. Restart the Gateway:
    • Unplug the device, wait 30 seconds, and reconnect it to power. Allow 2–3 minutes for it to come back online.

If the Gateway still shows as offline after 10 minutes, contact Converge Support with your Gateway serial number.

What can I do if my Helix Node can’t connect to the Gateway?

If your Helix Node fails to connect during setup:

  1. Ensure the Gateway is online (check LEDs or status in the app).
  2. Move the Helix Node closer to the Gateway to test range.
  3. Confirm that the tail connected to the node is registered in your Pour, then hold the button on the node for 5 seconds until it flashes green.
  4. Wait 2–3 minutes and check the app for current data and connection.

If you still see a connection error, contact Converge support.

What can I do if my Signal Long Range can’t connect to the Gateway?

If your Signal Long Range device is not connecting:

  1. Check that the Gateway is powered and online.
  2. Make sure the Signal device has a clear line of sight to the Gateway—avoid placing it behind metal or large concrete obstacles.

If the issue persists, restart the Gateway, then find the sensor in the app and tap the "retry connection" button.

What do the LEDs on my Converge Gateway mean?

Flashing red - cannot connect to the internet

How do I improve the range my hub can reach?

Install your Converge Gateway high and outside to get the greatest range possible.

If using the V1 hub (with external antenna) check the antenna -it should be installed up above the hub free of any obstructions. Secure the hub vertically as high as possible on fences or posts with the screws that are provided or zip ties.
